Sometimes hurricanes are the size of Texas, sooo if it's in South Carolina during game time chances are it's still in Gainesville

1. I want the game played in Gainesville, just not on Saturday. Reason? I do not want LSU's team/party to fly to Tampa in the early afternoon Friday and then bus to Ocala. They should be doing that on Saturday for a Sunday game.

2. Saturday at noon, there is ZERO CHANCE there will be anywhere near 90K in that stadium. UF has season ticket holders who live along the east coast of FL who will be pre-occupied with storm damage or be displaced to God-knows-where.

3. I have tickets and was planning on driving from BRouge to Gville on Thursday-Friday. But my hotel in Gville called me this afternoon asking me to relinguish my room for Fri-Sat nights because they had people from coastal FL who wanted to evacuate to Gville. I cancelled my rooms and my plans to go to the game.

4. If UF cannot even have classes on Friday, UF should not ask LSU's team to travel to the area on that day.

Dude, it's a category 3 Hurricane. It's not the Last Judgment.

Some of my fellow LSU fans are sounding like .

Some wind, several inches of rain, and likely a lot of power outages. Hopefully UF has a contingency plan should the game not happen Saturday, otherwise they will be receiving a ton of negative PR and have to deal with our nonstop bitching for years. We can be relentless when butt-hurt.

One thing know is fricking hurrricanes bro. I have been in more damn hurricanes than u have probably been on this earth from Camille, Agnes, Fredrick, Ivan, Wilma, Georges, Katrina etc. Nash Roberts was the only person who could ever tell u where one was going to go. Hence the adage predicable as a fricking hurricane. Half these models u r looking at have acknowledged programming errors, btw. We always relied on private model that oil companies used, but generally EU model is more accurate.

If I was heading my way, I would tell u what it was probably going to do after running matrix model analysis and consulting with private meterlogist in Destin, but this one isn't my problem.

In sum, u guys have no ducking clue where this thing is going to hit and are just rolling the dice as u know we will our number u 5 to 1 no matter where u move it

No, he said he was forced to have some family come stay with them in Atlanta when he was 5 due to a storm in Jacksonville. The trauma must have been terrible.

OP has evidently never gone through a hurricane and it's aftermatch.

It appears Florida has decided they would rather just cancel this game.

LSU isn't coming to play in a storm. LSU is the storm.

I hope you are right. I don't care if they play on the moon I just want to watch the game. Saints are bye this week, it would make for a boring weekend if it gets cancelled.

No trolling here, serious question.

Is Gainesville going to be used as a staging town for the emergency services needed on the coast? And will a lot of the coastal residents evacuate to Gainesville?

You are a fricking idiot. Even though you used to be a trainer for the LSU team.

Also, it wasn't the wind or rain that screwed New Orleans. It was the massive storm surge that caused the levees to break. And while you say we all have PTSD, Katrina is a consensus top 5 worst natural disaster in the U.S over the past 100 year.

But anyway, call this storm nothing. We LSU fans are counting our blessings that it wasn't us this year.
God speed my friend

look at the NHC 72 hour cone for a Cat 3/4 hurricane

if you have more than 3 brain cells you can see how clearly the Gators listening to a football coach screwed this up !!!!!!

should have moved the game or set it up to be played on Monday night

today they are going to set the time of the game but they have Lsu coming in to Tampa on Friday now

the eye wall can move 40 miles inland and tear up the Swamp - this is stupid off the scale stupid
