frick no. We have like 4 Linebackers on roster. Growing pains are inevitable, but he quit recruiting. Our Dline and LBers are paper thin.
I would much rather Chavis over Steele. But not every hire is a homerun. Some times you strike out. But still gotta take a swing.

I think he is responsible for one of the biggest issues with our defense, front 7 depth.
I also think he is low character and a quitter.
I liked his play calling, but i don't think the results would have been much different this year.

Now we can finally get him out of here and get a real coach just like y'all have always feared.
Hiring the right coach is a crapshoot, you never know if the next guy will be the next Urban Meyer or the next Charlie Strong.
LSU has now hired TWO national title winning coaches in a row. Two.
That means yall are more due for a shitty coaching hire than any program in the country this side of Ohio St. You could bet your retirement on the fact that whoever follows Les won't win a national title, especially if Joe is still in charge.
I can't wait for yalls dumbasses to fire Les and roll the dice. With us positioned in the SEC and with Chavis on our staff (and maybe Miles too if he wants to be a OC again) we will take so much talent out of the state after LSU fricks up the next hire that even Sumlin won't be able to stumble off the path to a national title.
Please please please fire Les as soon as possible, signed every Aggie that is alive.

Holy shite are you this retarded? #NextYearUniversity
And wanting Miles as OC?

Yeah congrats on all of those great players you got from Louisiana. They're just tearing up the SEC.

Sumlin will never win a national title.

Yeah, I'm tempted to revise my vote to "I don't want either"

Les has a better winning percentage at LSU last I checked

Hiring Steele away from Alabama when Saban already demoted him from the DC role isn't taking a swing. It's more like a bunt.

I'm sure you said the same after Saban left. LOL @ saying due to pure luck we are due for a bad coach.

Miami hired 3 such coaches in a row and 4 of 5 at one point.

You don't have any idea what would or wouldn't happen. Maybe accepting being an also ran is ok for the Aggies but we're not going to sit around and wait for Les to Mack Brown our program so the next guy doesn't even have a shot.

Steele was hired to help where we needed the most help - recruiting LBs. Because the previous guy sucked shite there the last few years and now we have no one to replace the guys about to leave. He's doing that at least.

Yeah and he's been here for 10 years compared to 4 years with Saban. Saban built the program and Les sustained it.
ITT: Aggies go full retard once again

F-No, He is the main reason for the lack of depth on defense the last few years. Glad he's gone. Defensive coaching is the least of the problems

Aggies trying to convince us why we should keep les is even MORE reason to look hard at getting a new coach in here STAT

If he's sustained it why do people want him fired?

No, Saban left whoever followed him the best version of the LSU program that has ever been. Les is following the Mack Brown path of leaving behind a pretty good program, but not a great one.

Lol at each and every one of you who thinks it can't happen. College football is cyclical, everyone takes a ride to the basement every now and then.
I mean, Joe has proven his meddling with the football program makes it shittier. Hence the thread. I have full confidence if he was in charge of hiring a head coach his cheap arse would frick it up.
Yall are welcome to find out.

of course it can happen, but at this point it's a risk most of us are willing to take.

In many of those losses the offense was the main problem.

Exceptions don't make the rule. Texas thought it was sliding into another national title winner with Charlie. They weren't.
Michigan thought they were sliding into the next national title winner with Rich Rod. They didn't.
If you want to believe that your program can get three royal flushes in a row then I won't stop you. I would believe the same stupid shite if I was a LSU fan.

He's no longer meeting our expectations, runs an offense so predictable that even the most football illiterate rantard can pick up on it, makes no adjustments as the game goes on, and shows little to no emotion on the sidelines as compared to his first few years here.
