But that brings me to the hard part

Same goes for most college players from any school. LOL

Do we need to list all the BAMA players that busted at the NFL level..

Yep reality, I don't buy the hype at college level because 80% of all college players that go to the NFL never have the stats they had in college or just don't make it in the NFL..

But got to support your team

While you are right that it has no affect on rankings of championships in College Football, it certainly has pull in the recruiting landscape.
How many years in a row has Alabama had the #1 recruiting class in America?...and how have they fared?

I'm not denying any of Alabama's success but to say that having a large number of players have success in the league as rookies and second year players doesn't give LSU a distinct edge in recruiting over some schools would be foolish.

To be totally honest though, this thread screams we know our NFL players are terrible and we admit that LSU is Daddy when it comes to the NFL.

Stop being so insecure Bama Fans

Come sit with me for a minute, and I'll explain to you what that's like.

This is a quality response and all other responses pale in comparison. I say that objectively as a Bama fan.

I'm playing the devil's advocate here so indulge me:
Alabama is the #1 recruiting school for a decade.
Alabama is a dynasty...been in every 4-team playoff
Ever seen Alabama's posters with the $$$ value of their players contracts on it?...impressive.

Where's the proof that LSU has a "distinct edge" in recruiting?

I don't think that you do.
This entire thread is about LSU and Alabama players in the NFL....the "some schools" crap has no place in the thread. Everybody knows that touting your school's pro players is a benefit, but the thread's not about "some schools"....it's about specifically LSU and Alabama, so...

Think of their value when he has to sell them on Ebay.

I think he gets at least 250 dollars for them.

Someone gets it. It is essentially brand recognition. Kids wants to play in the NFL and if they perceive LSU to be the best path there it can only help

Eli...Sit with me for a minute. No matter how many games or championships Alabama wins in football you personally will still be living in a trailer, married to your cousin, in Alabama. Now for a few moments every Saturday you will have a little happiness. But come Monday it's back to the factory.
