The loss stings, but I'm not pissed like I was after the UF game. We finally saw some offense and not the same boring offensive scheme that we have seen all year. With the exception of 3 or 4 play calls, I was very happy with the play calling. Les made some questionable calls, but if that play would have worked he would be a genius.
We played the number 1 team in the country. A team that most everyone expected to blow us out. Not only did we stay in the game, we almost won. We saw our QB have an awesome game for the first time. I am very proud of this team. I think that most of us accepted the reality that we aren't a NC team earlier in the season.
I just hope that Mett's play last night is a forecast for the future. This is a young team with a very bright future.

metts play really pleased me. I even liked our wrs in the second half. If they caught some passes in the first who knows what happens. I hope this was the game that sparks this team and we finish with 4 big time blow outs where the o is going. The oline really did well most of the night so hopefully it carries us to a nc next year

Not necessarily depressed, just very disappointed. Been feeling better over the course of the day.
I believe in our team. There are some positives to take from the game, Mett may have turned the corner. We have a positive outlook for the future.
All in all, the Mike Leach talk is appropriate for this one. Specifically when he references to Texas.

I have hope if the LSU offense plays like the rest of the year, we won't lose another game and it won't be close.
And Miles realizes that he doesn't need anymore trickeration because we have an O that can move the ball.

we have no reason to lose another reg season game. If we do drop a regular season game id be pissed because none of the remaining teams should come close to touching us.
I really think we roll whoever we play in a bowl game. Id personally like to get a shot at a undefeated nd team that got left out the national title because we would rail them. The only team that can beat LSU when they play well did it last night. Uf beat us but we played terrible and the game plan was overall shite along with shite play from our offense causing the d to wear down

Well of course we're not content..but, it was a great game and i came away with more confidence in a big weak area of our team, the quarterback position.
Trust me, it felt like shite..but you have to just applaud the outstanding effort and recognize that bama made adjustments and won because they made really big plays with their backs against the wall in the toughest of settings

after what went on this offseason im wait till the first game before saying nc or bust. Mett didn't come along as fast as we needed this year when everyone was saying nc or bust.

not depressed at all. that was the result jan 9th. we dominated bama statistically. we won everywhere but the scoreboard. it was a game between two schools that have a strong hate for one another in an environment that doesn't have an equal. even the bama fans said they have never seen anything like death valley. a true sec battle. hard fought, smash mouth football. that was the kind of game that makes the fanatic in all of us fans come out. geaux tigers!

I'll tell you what is depressing (or hilarious). Auburn football has become such a fricking joke, the Barn fans have nothing left, but to troll Alabama and LSU fans. Have fun trying to catch up for the next 20 years Auburn......
