Arkansas was in shambles not so long ago. LSU has out-recruited them the past... well, many years. And LSU can't even compete with them it seems any year now. Do you think coaching *might* be an issue?? Maybe we can hire that Shula guy and keep him for 10 years.
BTW, it goes beyond the Arky game... this has been building up for years now.

Congratulations sir, you have explained the problem as thoroughly and completely as it could be explained. Your reply should be stickied to the top of the Rant for the rest of the week.
Even when Arkansas was a complete and utter disaster during Bert's first year here LSU still needed a minor miracle to win. Arkansas is built to play teams like Alabama and LSU. If I was an LSU fan I'd expect a tough game every year with Arkansas just based on that.
It is certainly possible to blow out Arkansas now, but its going to be difficult just based on the style of offense we use. Say what you will about crawl ball but chewing up the clock and keeping the chains moving keeps games close.

I agree. I originally picked 9-3 and had us losing to ArKansas, Bama, and Ole Miss. ArKansas just because apparently that's what seems to happen.
I let my expectations rise too quickly. I think beating Ole Piss isn't going to happen unfortunately. Losing to A&M will just about be rock bottom going 7-4.
