You know as well as I do that what's happening on this board has precious little to do with "other options."

Is anyone really fooled into thinking that it has to do with anything other than which team LSU fans think they have the best chance to beat.


I'm sure every other fan base would have people doing the same thing however that doesn't mean that I wouldn't be a bit pissed about it if I were an Oklahoma St fan.


The ones who want Oklahoma St so desperately better hope the poll voters don't feel the same way they do about the difference between the two teams.

The degree to which you corndogs make that 9-6 win in overtime seem like a complete and total beatdown is hilarious to even more people.

You all claim to have dominated Alabama the entire game yet we out gained you in the air 199-91 with both teams having 2 picks. Only difference there is one of ours was from a wide receiver instead of the highly touted starter that had played SO well all season long and was gonna torch Alabama's secondary, who had 2 himself.

LSU did outgain Alabama on the ground 148-96. (108 of which from the RB's, the negative yardage was from sacks, which has nothing to do with rushing stats since they are passing plays.) So our RB's put up a 100 yard game against your "dominating" rushing defense.

Our Heisman Trophy leading candidate RB had over 180 total yards in that game, which has been praised by talking heads across the country as on of the more impressive offensive performances of the year because of LSU's defense.

We also outgained you in total offense 295-239. This isnt a moral victory by any means, but it is proof that your bullshite domination spin story is completely fabricated. So you can take your total domination and stuff it.

That game was a epic battle of 2 behemoth's with VERY little difference between them and the winner at the end squeeked out by a FG in OT. Nobody dominated ANYONE. And to act like Alabama played with any less intensity than LSU is a pitiful attempt to convince yourselves that you will mop the floor up with us in NOLA because it scares the shite out of you that there is just as good of a chance that you will lose as there is that you will win.

It is fine to discuss other scenarios, but some gumps are so blinded right now, they believe there is no alternative to an LSU/Bama rematch. This simply isn't true.
