re: LSU fans: Given what Dupre said, are you worried about recruiting WRs and QBs?

Don't pretend to be trolling? I wasn't trolling and I'm certainly not pretending to be. I didn't make a comment I asked a question. 87's stats went back 15 years, so I asked how many of them were from the Saban era. Y'all are feisty today, and reading WAY too much into my first post.

Bologna, Saban only coached 1 of them.

he only coached one LSU player still in the league as a WR. The original post listed all the current LSU players at WR in the NFL. Only one of those has any ties to Saban, which is what your question was.

First-round picks last 15 years: 4
Top three rounds: 10

This is what I replied to

ETA: I didn't quote that exact part in my post. But what you're claiming wasn't quoted in my post either.

LSU fans, do you see this as a problem going forward when it comes to recruiting top notch QBs and WRs?

QBs. Probably.

WRs?

Any WR recruit just needs to look at Beckham, Randle and Landry to see that talented LSU receivers do just fine in the league.

In the end, they want to get paid on Sundays.

In the meantime, Dupre might want to concentrate on catching the damn ball.

No. We are 107-29 since Miles took over and consistently recruit top talent. We have more receivers making headlines in the nfl than just about anyone else.

Looks like an Aggie grasping straws again.

He'll have better chance to win a title and play in the NFL than if he had chosen A&M Consolidated High School.

Check NFL rosters for A&M WRs.

LSU receivers under Miles have done better in NFL than Saban's when he was at LSU

QB development is more of the issue and since Jimbo left it hasn't been there and the players being signed are not the best passers out there.

What should the football player's response be for play calling if you are getting almost 9 ypc from the RB?

A&M - Mike Evans

LSU - Odell, Jarvis, Randle, Lafell, Bowe, etc... for a team that does not throw we sure do seem to put WR's in the NFL pretty regularly.
