Good hire. Mid-major coaches are always a crapshoot on how they'll translate but if you're gonna gamble, gamble on a young energetic guy with something to prove.
I was hoping they'd give Matt McCall a chance myself.

Nice hire -- Wade was in play for the UT job before Barnes ended up with it a few years ago. A lot of UT fans wanted Wade to be the guy and think highly of him from his time at UTC. No idea what his ceiling is, but he's a hell of a lot better than JJ.

Wade is 100% an analytical x and o guy
He never even played college basketball, yet became a coach because he impressed the Clemson coaches on how much he studied/dissected the game
