After Hurricane Rita, Tenn offered to fly into BR on a monday, play the game, and fly home on the same day in 2005. Not only did Tenn make the offer, but they did it and won in Tiger Stadium. Much respect to Tenn. Go Vols!

Read the OP wingnut. He thinks Tennessee beating Alabama and A&M would put LSU in control of their own destiny ( )

Better yet, imagine the unlikely scenario where LSU is 6-1 and Bama and A&M are 6-2? The mood swings would be incredible.

We would have to be horseshoe up the arse Miles lucky for this to pan out.

Not really. It's still early in the season. There are many ways that scenario could come to fruition.

Makes sense..every offseason both Tennessee and LSU believe "this is the year." We've got a heisman candidate (insert position) and we return x number of starters....

The perennial offseason national champions as allies....glad you guys saw what you had in common.

In April, no one can tell you guys anything...but by the end of November

I think it's gonna be awesome how hard everyone (other than auburn and sc probably) will pull for UGA against UF this year.

I mean, I always do that, but point taken.

I'm assuming they Auburn will lose at least 2 SEC games.
You think they go 7-1 in conference play?

LSU doesn't have Miles anymore and the team was reborn. They are still super talented. They might lose 5 more games, or they could win out. I have no idea. But, it is good to have hope.

Auburn isn't winning out.

I know what you mean, but LSU must run out and have significant help from others for it to happen. Thus, the Miles reference from 07.

Whatever. I explained it. You know I'm right.

Auburn isn't going 7-1 in league play. That is not a good football team.

Alabama and A&M each need to lose one game to a team other than LSU.

If LSU wins out and the above happen, LSU goes to Atlanta even with all of this happening.

It isn't that hard to understand.

You don't control your destiny. Period. Add an Auburn loss to your fantasy and your thread at least becomes factual.
