Barnett is not a bad player. Miles would turn him into a bad player, but he is going to be a damn good QB somewhere.

BB is one play away from having to be the starting QB where we have zero other options. Meanwhile our RBs are just fine.

We don't really need another RB we need the oline to open up more holes, so no.

Blake Barnett is going to be a very good QB for somebody, may even be Alabama. He's a redshirt freshman, never played a snap before this year, and is currently behind another very good freshman.
If Hurts wins this position longterm, and Kiffin takes a head job next yr, I wouldn't be surprised to see Barnett transfer to wherever that may be. I'd bet money, though, that neither he nor Hurts will spend 3 years on the bench. They are both too talented.

Probably not. Bama has RBs that will get better with time, plus it isn't just RBs it's the offensive line. Not knocking Guice or anything, just saying. I'll take the depth Barnett brings at QB right now.

frick no. There's no way Bama would make this trade unless they're utterly convinced that Barnett has no potential to be a competent starter.
