Oregon with more in just contributions than probably all but the top 10 in revenue generate all together. They could literally field the team offering all their tickets for $1.
How are they not better? Lol
They should be defending 5-6 straight national titles
It's all 1 guy.

I guess you are right Lechler. My buddy at work has always said if he wins the lottery, 1/2 of it goes to Iowa St via some money laundering and they will be top 10 in recruiting yearly lol

And both of them have more football NC's this century than Arkansas has had in its entire existence

So the longhorns sold less than 50,000 football season tickets last year and they are the second richest athletic department.
Stuff like that is why these dick measuring articles on AD income are always a bunch of bullshite.
Might just as well be reading bleachereport.

Two most similar schools in the SEC, IMO.

Not really
It uses the USA Today data as their base which is highly skewed to unusual income or donations in a single year (why oregon is #1) and does not include private schools (why Notre Dame is not listed)

Are they going to be able to keep the school open with that $11M in profit?
Posted on 2/29/16 at 6:53 am to LSUNV
Look at newer data. A&M is #1 now.

the guy who wrote the article knew it would be click bate for LSU fans who desperately try to perpetuate that idea even though Saban will probably never lose to Miles again.

The days of ticket sales funding athletic departments are long gone. I agree though that article is still garbage. No standard in reporting foundation revenues.

Link? I call bullshite I have not seen 1 article including Forbes that has A&M 1st
Posted on 2/29/16 at 7:10 am to RebelExpress38
There are more than 1 article out there that has LSU in top 10 in the country. Google it

Why are those schools at the very top making so much more in ticket sales? Corporate sponsors?

Suites like The Zone would be my guess

According to USA today, you are fourth behind Alabama, LSU and Florida.
