Do you really think you won't like having a game you care about TG night to watch?
quote:Friday sucks but at least it's the only legit game on. Competing with the NFL is stupid.
For the other 99.9% of LSU fans, how is a 1PM game on TV on Friday better than a Thanksgiving Night game on TV?
Sorry about y'all losing your game with Texas and all, I just don't get the obsession with having a game on Thanksgiving.

I am totally fine with having Alabama and LSU in Fayettville during the peak of fall in the Ozarks. Tennessee has ended with a crappy game for decades therefore it doesn't bother me we now will.
Go ahead and make Missouri travel to Little Rock to end the year. This is also shaping up so the Longhorns get tired of playing TCU and want a bigger game than their rival Aggie vs Tigers; insert Arkansas.

It's just a reality of recruiting in Texas. Texas is the one that has promoted the TDay game as their game and even got the B12 to go along with allowing them to always play at home. For A&M to play a bigger game on the same day minimizes them and helps us in recruiting.
How does a thanksgiving day game that sees them winning and you losing help in you recruiting?

Obviously you don't understand that there will be an NFL game being played that Thursday night. Less eyeballs to see you lose, so I guess that's a plus for the College Station team.

Will Kyle Field capacity will be 109,000 in '14 or '15?
Posted on 8/20/13 at 10:53 pm to SunHog
Only positive is it will be easier for me to make my first trip to fayetteville.

Kyle will be 109k plus in 2014 and will go back down to the permanent 102,500 in 2015.

Someone that doesn't realize that 1:30 on Friday carries better TV ratings than Thanksgiving night going up against the NFL.
Way to go for less exposure and piss people off in the process.
You're such a baby. But I'm glad you're worried about LSU getting exposure. It shows you know national appeal because Sumlin is going to start raiding Louisiana for top talent.

This isn't the Big 12, we travel very well.

You travel as well as any fanbase in the SEC....My point is, if 20K fans would make it if it were Friday, but only 12K do since it is on TG night: 8K fans =/= "majority of LSU fans"

I prefer T+1, for the record. I don't like stressing on Thanksgiving. I wonder if playing on Thanksgiving will be short-lived. I know quite a few Ags who would prefer T+1.

So for the 8,000 LSU fans that get tickets, I'm sure they'll be okay with it. The rest of you can watch LSU/A&M instead of the Lions vs Browns. Quit your whining.

Why are you worried about exposure for one game? I don't get it. You really think going up against the Detroit Lions is really going to hurt your exposure? Really?

Thursdays in College Station and Fridays in Baton Rouge is an awesome agreement.

The Tigers’ game at Texas A&M will be on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, per the Aggies’ wishes. LSU will not be playing home games against Texas A&M on Thanksgiving Day, the source said. As has been the case with the LSU-Arkansas game, the Tigers will play the Aggies in Tiger Stadium on Fridays or Saturdays to end the season.
I'll have less of an issue if LSU plays A&M at home on Saturdays. i.e the way it should be.

It doesn't bother me nor do i think it will be that big a deal for anyone posting here (as long as it's @ Kyle only)
The problem is going to come with our mothers/grandmothers/wives/girlfriends, etc.

yeah if we can finally get that home game back to Saturday permanently that would be so great.
