Someone needs to explain OBJ to me. He is a good receiver yes, but why is he getting a ton of hype? There are multiple receivers with better stats than him with worse QBs.

Is this media hype?

Yes, we all realize your team had Beckham, Landry, Hill and Mettenberger and still didn't amount to much.

you fricking idiot

OBJ is the fastest receiver to 3,500 receiving yards in NFL history. He was also the fastest receiver to reach 200 receptions.

There are two, maybe, if you manipulate some numbers.

LOL.

Set an LSU record 2,315 all-purpose yards

Or put another way, 639 yards less all purpose yards in ONE season at LSU than Julio Jones had in his Career.
I hope that helps you in your efforts to get over the Clemson loss.

Of course you do. I'm sure you believe that Julio Jones and T.Y. Hilton are in the same category as players like Brandon LaFell, J.J. Nelson, Taylor Gabriel and Tyreek Hill too.

Huh. Not sheriff srs.

Only 2 receivers (TY Hilton and Julio) finished with more yards. Only 2 finished with more receptions (Fitz and Brown). 5th in Touchdowns. 5th in yards per game.

Then there are things like this :

OBJ Breaks Randy Moss's Record

Another OBJ Record

He is better than Mike Evans. That's for damned sure. Compare the two. Don't worry, I'll wait.

As for the original topic. I You had another top tier receiver on the team. You had a solid Running back... and you didn't have the best Quarterback in the world either.

I'm surprised Brandon Lafell is still in the league. I remember watching him at LSU and seeing him get great separation and then drop the ball about ten times a game. He had one of the worst hands I've ever seen from a SEC receiver.

Try again....LaFell was money and you still lost to Clemson.

Brandon Lafell/Julio Jones three year stats:

Lafell : 170 catches 2377 yards 13.9 ypc 23 touchdowns
Julio Jones: 179 catches 2653 yards 14.8 ypc 17 touchdowns
