Last years line was 9.5

This is a early line given by a premium gambling website. Goldsheet.

If LSU had not lost to Ole Miss I would be Leary to take the points. I can see us winning by 17-21,especially if they sling Mett around all night. This is the first time since 2007 I don't nervous about possibly losing to The Tigers....another week to go...let' s see if anything changes...

Now if you need an example of how all out rushed create holes in your position that can be exploited see Yeldon's game winning TD against you guys last year.

Instead of just owning up to not proofreading before you posted a mess of text, let's just see how many times we can insult the people who tried to decipher the shite.

I hope Bama players never look at the betting line, favored or underdog.

I can almost guarantee you this line WILL NOT be +17. I know the sheet and power rankings you are talking about, but that is not an absolute for setting lines.

This line will be around 13.

Do you think there's a way that a good team could be unaware that they were a 17 point underdog against their "rival" opponent?

I'm still laughing at the diehard Bama fan that said it had been a while since LSU beat them.

He must have missed the MOST RECENT GAME in his own fricking stadium.

I know this is a thread to take pot shots at each other but that line is ridiculous. Other than the anomaly that was the BCS title game series has been an incredible close series since 2007. No matter who wins or the quality of the two teams it has been an intense four quarter slug fest and usually one of the best regular season games each season

2007 - 7 point LSU win - LSU 41 Bama 34
2008 - 6 point Bama win - Bama 27 LSU 21 (OT)
2009 - 9 point Bama win - Bama 24 LSU 15
2010 - 3 point LSU win - LSU 24 Bama 21
2011 - 3 point LSU win - LSU 9 Bama 6 (OT)
2012 - 4 point Bama win - Bama 21 LSU 17

I have no idea how the game will end up but one thing is for sure neither team is winning by double digits. Taking Bama to cover is basically burning your money.

Those were all great games for the most part, too.

That is contradictory. Bama could also easily win by 10+.

And the weird thing about those 6 games is beside from being some generally good ball games (though 9-6 wasn't a great game) is the relative lack of home field advantage despite BDS and Tiger stadium being two of the top stadiums in the nation.

Solid post. Other than the MNC debacle, we play each other damn close, regardless of the stadium.

And the MNC comes from the fact that one of Saban's greatest strengths is unless the team is completely unmotivated he is probably one of the best coaches to coach the game when it comes to Bowl Prep.

People who bet LSU will make money. I don't think they will win the game, but 17 points is ridiculous.

+17 is stupid.

I have Bama winning 63-3.
