I believe so, that was the "magic number" for all the boises and tcus of the world before some people decided trips to the MNC should be handed to them...

JMO - and barring a bunch of other teams also losing... if LSU loses to Arkansas then neither team makes a BCS bowl
Bama has an outside shot of making a BCS bowl if they win their last two games... but that's the rep boost they get for winning a NC last year... not because they would necessarily deserve it

No BCS for the Hogs
PAC 10 gets 2 in with Oregon and Stanford....no discussion on Oregon, and Stanford has a 4-4 ASU & 5-4 Cal on the road then 4-4 Oregon State at home...Stanford is too experienced a team to drop a game this late to a .500 team (but hey Luck may go down, and someone they play goes off).

Yeah, but if Auburn beats them that would probably only leave Auburn and Arkansas in the top 12...

This is pretty accurate. Bama doesn't deserve it but it could happen. I think the Barn will beat them though. In theory, you're right though.
Here's to a damn good game between LSU and Arkansas, as it always is.
However, we still have to play MSU, at Starksville...this scares the sh*t out of me, they are good.

If auburn goes to the bcs championship game the sec will have a spot in the sugar bowl. Most likely the winner of lsu/ Arkansas.
