I want to beat LSU...badly. BUT, I have absolutely no hatred for them at all. I actually kinda' like LSU for some reason.

Now Texas? Well, I loathe them

We simply don't have the history to call it a rivalry.

Although it's not a big rivalry these days, there is quite a bit of history, and you don't have to go back much before 1960. For many years (from 1913 to 1936) this game was played in Shreveport - probably as many Hog fans in that area as Tiger fans. Series ended in 1936, but the teams squared off again in the 1947 Cotton Bowl (the "Ice Bowl") and played to a 0-0 tie. Series briefly resumed in the mid 50s, but the teams didn't meet again until the 1966 Cotton Bowl, when LSU behind Joe Labruzzo upset the three td favorite #2 Hogs. Teams didn't meet again until Arkansas joined the SEC.

Much of it ancient history, but this can become a major rivalry, particularly if both Arkansas and LSU enter this final game of the season with conference championships and national rankings on the line.

no rivalry yet. I think recruiting some of our louisiana players and we recruiting some of the arky players could cause a rivalry, but that has not happened much. i always look forward to tailgaiting with the arky fans. No hatred here

yea sorry that those guys did not get a chance to wear nation championship rings. I really hate that being that they are louisiana boys. I guess they might diappointed about that as well.

Tulane is more of a baseball rivalry i think. Tulane hates us way more than we hate them IMO.

I agree. Is there a rival between a hammer and a nail? Not from the hammers perspective. Such is the Tulane/LSU football"rivalry?

I don't hate Arky, but I do respect you guys and HATE playing you...
