Tulane is more of a baseball rivalry i think. Tulane hates us way more than we hate them IMO.

Aahh the dreaded Little Brother Inferiority Complex. We see that with Arkansas State. The irony is that their entire identity is attached to their loathing of us. At the same time, we have to struggle to remember they exist...which results in them resenting us even more.

Ole Miss is a rival when they can compete, and this year is one of those years.
Tulane is our oldest rival, but they haven't been up to par us for a long long time.

I usually root for Arkansas when they aren't playing LSU. There really isn't much reason for me dislike the program, aside from the the last two years.

The BCS changed things. LSU & FL are the only two programs with multiple BCS titles. No game between LSU/USCw since the mid 80s but LSU fans sure love to see the Trojans lose.

My grandfather was a big Tulane fan. I know Tulane hates LSU with a passion. When I worked there they didn't even want purple powerade in the coke machine.

i know a few LSU grads/fans that hate USCw above all other teams because of the 2003 "co-championship". but there aren't enough actual games to call it a rivalry.

USC? Yeah LSU fans dont like USC, but mainly because they try and claim 2003, but LSU doesnt hardly ever play USC. There can't really be a rivalry. Ole Miss is historically LSU's biggest rival, but as of the past few years Florida, Auburn and Alabama have become the biggest. The Ark rivalry doesnt really mean all that much to LSU fans, but in recent years its become a competitve game

I hate TX more than any SEC team.
LSU, meh. I kinda cheer for LSU when we are not playing them. At least I find myself rooting for LSU more often than not.

I look forward to the LSU/Arky game every year. I enjoy the fact that it has been the day after Thanksgiving. It gives it that holiday game feeling. It also lets us end our season with a bang with as good as LSU has been. I don't see it as a traditional rivalry, but it could become one in the near future. I think if LSU doesn't make it to the title game in 07 after the loss to us, LSU fans would be a little more heated with us.

We have a rivalry in the SEC? I wished that I would have known that so I saved all of my hate for them....

LSU fans respect Arkansas because of the last few years. We love the timing of the game after the big feast. I think most fans here kind of like Arkansas. We have gotten over our beef with Ole Miss, because they have been so bad. Same with Tulane. We have some bad blood with Auburn stomping on the eye of the tiger, lighting cigars in our stadium on the sidelines, etc. The static between us and Bama is not going to go away. If we are not in the race, we would pull for UF before Bama. We don't have much of a big time rival, but Auburn and Bama come the closest. Arkansas always plays LSU hard, and beats them recently, but it doesn't feel like a rivalry for some reason. I think we hope yall can help us keep Bama in check, as they look like they might become the UF of the west.
