Arkansas is either going to barely beat Tech, or lose.

Is this why LSU won't play them?

They are scheduled to play in a couple years I think.

Of course, that is the only two possible outcomes, nice analysis.

Agree, it is not a cupcake opener. Louisiana Tech is well coached and will bring it to the Hogs.

Last year, the Hogs opened against UTEP and they exposed the Arkansas defense. The Hogs won, but UTEP figured out the weakness in the secondary. Toledo and Texas Tech feasted on it. As did all spread teams.

I hope to see this fixed in the opener.

Good news for Arkansas is LTU replaces a lot. They aren't the same team they were the year before (opposite of Toledo who returned most of their squad).

Should be a solid attention getter after Toledo last year, though, and should give a good enough test to get ready to go to TCU the next week.

Oh is it... tech couldn't destroy Arkansas or visa versa? No need to be a dick, was just stating what I think is going to happen. I think it'll be a close game, with either team winning by no more than 10 pts.

So you have more confidence in LaTech to keep the game close than LSU has been able to against Arkansas.

Good to know.

So now we're talking about games in the past? Thought this thread was about Tech Arkansas? Didn't know we were talking about my confidence in LSU the past few seasons...

You're trying to hard man...I think Tech keeps it close and could even end up beating Arky. Now if you would like to discuss the Arky LSU game this year we could, but not on this thread since it isn't about LSU.

It's not an auto-W but it's also not scary. As long as we don't have 2+ turnovers or crazy amount of penalties, we'll win easy.

I believe Mr Ham has conveyed my feelings well. I'm not scared as long as we do what we need to do.

LT wont be nearly as good this year as they have been. Bielema would have to seriously F that up to not pull out a W.
