Exactly. He was a fan boy for ND and USCe and had zero objectivity towards either. If he played it as a shtick it wouldn't have been a problem, but he was oblivious to how moronic he sounded when talking about those teams and people discounted what he said about them - even if they deserved praise - because it was coming from him.

On a personal level, I've heard he's a wonderful person and I wish him well at whatever he does next.
