do you really think he would have gotten on the field at another position? That may work at another school but not Alabama.
I don't know, but apparently Coach Saban thought he could contribute. Saban tried to talk him out of transferring and encouraged him to consider switching positions. I think he's a good athlete.

He may have offered but i bet he didn't bull shite him about how likely or unlikely to get playing time.
