The 2010 AU team skull fricked UGA, what did the 07 LSU team do aganist UGA. The reason AU had close games in 2010 was that they did not know what they had in Cam early. The MSU, Clemson and KY games were on Chiz and Gus backs. The 07 LSU team would not have come back 24-0 to bama. AU was more than Cam and Nick, they had great RBs, one of the best OL in the country and 4 quality WRs.

Cam and Nick Were they 2 of the greatest college football players of all-time? Think about all they were able to overcome. Shitty coaching, mediocre surrounding talent, hyper competitive division, beating Saban on the road after spotting 24 points, historic blowout win in the SECCG, and a national title. These 2 did all of that.

Josh Bynes deserves alot of credit. He was the one calling the D on the field. He was the reason we had the #1 rush D in the SEC that season.

So Cam, Nick, and Josh.

Triple overtime=automatic loss for LSU, every time.

It was ridiculous given how Georgia was playing that they missed the SECCG on a technicality like that. I know Tennessee got in fair and square, but Georgia was clearly the better team by the end of the year. Would have liked to have seen LSU play the better team rather than cause the controversy that it caused.

Besides UGA fans complaining, there wasn't much controversy that I can remember. LSU beat more ranked opponents and and never lost in regulation. Uga lost to two teams in their own division. And when you dont win your division, you dont make it to the seccg. And normally you dont make it to the ncg either.

There was a HUGE controversy. People were discussing whether or not they would vote LSU ahead of Georgia given the fact that Georgia playing so much better and LSU had lost both games more recently. Georgia was ranked at #4 in the country and was subsequently jumped even though they hadn't lost since the beginning of October. And LSU was the team that had gotten the fewest first place votes in the AP poll since they got the fewest in the 2004 vote. Georgia got 3.

That's all from Wikipedia. I remember watching people debate on TV the whole week leading up to it that a #7 LSU shouldn't jump from 7th place just because they snuck by a Tennessee team that was regressing and had the same record as other teams.

I think you take championships the way you get them. So LSU was lucky, and they worked hard. But in the same respect, there were rules in place that addressed and purposely didn't require a division championship, so to rely on one fallacy to validate your championship while marginalizing another team's shot or championship is ridiculous. Time and time again, they discussed having a division/conference champion requirement, and time and time again, they voted it down.
