Vanderbilt

Departing
Riley LaChance
Jeff Roberson
Matthew Fisher-Davis

Incoming
Darius Garland (5* PG)
Simi Shittu (5* PF, tore ACL in January)
Aaron Nesmith (4* SF)
Matt Ryan (SF transfer from Notre Dame)
Yanni Wetzell (C transfer from DII St Mary's)
Romeo Langford??
EJ Montgomery??

Outlook: Ton of incoming talent, but will have next to no returning production. Saben Lee will be the only productive returner. Garland is an elite scoring PG who'll probably be at Vandy for only one year. Ryan is a really good spot-up shooter. Offense should be good; defense is a question mark although Shittu returning healthy would give them a guy who can guard 3 to 5. If they get Langford they'll get buzz as a Top 25 team although I'm skeptical of that. Should be fun to watch regardless.

Ole Miss

Departing
Deandre Burnett
Markel Crawford
Justas Furmanavicius
Marcanvis Hymon
(maybe some others due to coaching change)

Incoming (maybe?)
Serrel Smith (3* PG)
Anthony Higgs (2* PF)
Zach Naylor (JUCO SF/PF)
Brian Halums (JUCO SG/SF)

Outlook: Who knows? If their new coach is able to avoid any transfers and decommitments, they'll have a few decent pieces in Terence Davis, Bruce Stevens, and Davontae Shuler. But likely, this is going to be a massive rebuilding year for whomever is hired. Likely last pick in the preseason polls.

Texas A&M

Departing
Duane Wilson
Tony Trocha-Morelos
Robert Williams (likely)
Tyler Davis??
DJ Hogg??

Incoming
Antwann Jones (4* SG)
Josh Nebo (PF/C transfer from St Francis)

Outlook: Need to know if Davis and Hogg are returning. Josh Nebo is effectively the Robert Williams replacement, and Nebo won DPoY in the NEC in 2017. He won't be as explosive as Williams but he'll be a solid rim protector. TJ Starks can be an elite scorer but he'll need to tighten up his shot selection and general basketball IQ. Should be a tournament team if Davis comes back, probably more like an NIT-level team if he doesn't.

Missouri

Departing
Kassius Robertson
Jordan Barnett
Michael Porter, Jr. (likely)
Jontay Porter??

Incoming
Torrence Watson (4* SG)
Xavier Pinson (3* PG)
Javon Pickett (2* SG)
KJ Santos (SF, UIC transfer)
Courtney Ramey??

Outlook: Both Robertson and Barnett are huge losses. Huge. The two combined for over 30 points per game this season. The two have combined for over 60% of Missouri's 3P makes this season. Cuonzo better be in the grad transfer market looking for another Robertson. As currently constructed this is probably a middle-of-the-pack team at best even with Jontay returning unless Cuonzo can reel in a grad transfer, Ramey, or both.

LSU

Departing
Randy Onwuasor
Duop Reath
Aaron Epps

Incoming
Nazreon Reid (5* PF)
Emmitt Williams (5* PF)
Javonte Smart (4* PG)
Darius Days (4* PF)
Kavell Bigby-Williams (C, transfer from Oregon)

Outlook: Tournament team most likely with upside for more. Waters should get some play as preseason POY. Pretty crowded roster otherwise. The influx of frontcourt players should improve their rebounding and interior defense and Smart joins an already deep backcourt.

South Carolina

Departing
Frank Booker
Wes Myers

Incoming
Brian Bowen (lol)
Jermaine Couisnard (3* SG)
Rakym Felder??

Outlook: I doubt Bowen ever plays a minute for South Carolina, but if he does, that's a much needed talent upgrade. But assuming that he doesn't, the backcourt still looks barren even with Felder possibly returning. Martin will probably be in the market for another grad transfer guard, but he needs a big hit this time, or Silva will probably spend his last season playing in the NIT.

Can’t be worse than our guard play this year. I honestly mean that.

And you’re probably right about Bowen, but I’ll hold out hope regardless

Felder was good in a complementary role in 2016-17 but he hasn't proven himself as a main option. Plus he hasn't played in a year.

Outside of him, it's the same guys minus Booker, who was by far South Carolina's most consistent shooter, and Myers, who had his moments like going off at UF.

It could be worse. Although Martin is probably going to dive into the grad transfer market hard.

Probably a 6-12 conference season regardless. You're grossly underestimating how horrible of a coach Kennedy is.

As long as Jontay comes back we will be in good shape. He's SEC POY good if he's back next year. With Tilmon that's one of the best front courts in the country.

Santos, the transfer, is going to be very good. He's 6'8" built like a brick shite house and can jump out of the gym. Also has a nice stroke from the outside and can handle the ball.

Watson is a big, smooth scorer. He has a lot length and is a good athlete.

Pinson needs to work on his shot, but he's also a very high caliber athlete that can get in the paint.

We'll probably add Ramey who is just outside 5* status. Quick PG who does a little bit of everything and can be the trigger man we are desperately lacking this year.

Also have room for a grad transfer, probably a combo guard and Zo has shown a good eye for these.

Our ceiling depends on Jontay coming back, but if he does it's pretty high.

Mississippi State

Departing
None

Incoming
Reggie Perry (5* PF)
Robert Woodard (4* SF)
DJ Stewart (4* SG)
Jethro Tshisumpa (3* JUCO C)

Outlook: Team will absolutely be loaded. Top 5 in the SEC. Finally will be a mature team. Should be top 25 pre-season. Can go legitimately 12 deep (8 deep this year - plus class coming in). Peters and Weatherspoon brothers should be one of the best back courts in the SEC. NCAA tournament or bust.

Auburn

Departing
Austin Wiley?
Danjel Purifoy?
Mustapha Heron?
Bruce Pearl?

Incoming
Babatunde Akingbola(4*PF)
Samir Doughty(transfer CG from VCU)

Outlook
TBD way too much uncertainty to know for sure. It looks like Pearl should be back unless something new surfaces. If we return all those questionable we should be a favorite to contend for not just the SEC but to also make a run nationally

Alabama

Departing
Collin Sexton
Braxton Key*

Incoming
Jared Buter - 3-star 6-2 PG
Javian Fleming - 3-star 6-9 C
Diante Wood - 3-star 6-4 SG
Tevin Mack - 6-7 G, transfer from Texas

Outlook: It's going to be interesting to see who runs point. Might have a freshman start, or see Mack run it. Lot of experience and talent coming back, but they've got to develop more in the off-season. Ingram and Key really didn't take that "next step" that we all hoped this year, so there's reason to skepticism. Petty's development is going to be the most watched from BAma fans.

Auburn

Departing
Mustapha Heron??

Incoming
Babatunde Akingbola (3* PF)
Samir Doughty (SG/SF, VCU transfer)
Austin Wiley??
Danjel Purifoy??

Outlook: Won the SEC this season with no seniors. Outlook is pretty rosy, especially if McLemore is back by SEC play. Could be preseason Top 10.

Georgia

Departing
Yante Maten
Juwan Parker
Pape Diatta

Incoming
Amanze Ngumezi (4* PF)
JoJo Toppin (3* SF)

Outlook: With Fox on the way out, there's a lot of uncertainty surrounding next year's team. There is a decent core of talented players here with Crump, Hightower, Hammonds, and Claxton that an incoming coach could have decent success right away assuming no transfers. Probably middle-of-the-pack roster as constructed now.

Mississippi State

Departing
none (although with 14 players signed for next year someone is getting processed)

Incoming
Reggie Perry (5* PF)
Robert Woodard (4* SF)
DJ Stewart (4* SG)
Jethro Tshishumpa (JUCO C)

Outlook: State's record this year may have been mostly smoke and mirrors between a terrible non-conference schedule and a conference schedule where they played the top four teams only once each, but they did show flashes of obvious potential. Lamar Peters is the key to this team; when he's using his elite 1on1 potential to get shots for himself and others, this team can thrive. That everyone is returning means there'll be considerable hype surrounding this team. Possible Top 25 preseason.

Florida

Departing
Chris Chiozza
Egor Koulochev
Jalen Hudson??

Incoming
Andrew Nembhard (5* PG)
Noah Locke (4* SG)
Keyontae Johnson (4* SF)

Outlook: Losing Chiozza will sting, although replacing him with a 5* isn't too shabby. Interestingly enough, though, there is no frontcourt help on the way. UF will need Kevaughn Allen to have a huge senior season if this team is going to contend. Realistic scenario is bubble team.

Akingbola has reclassified. He is still listed as a 2019 recruit but he will be here in June
