I remember listening to that long Tennessee-Arkansas overtime game in the early 2000's driving everybody home from an Alabama game. Six overtimes maybe?

OM vs. Arky

Wouldn't be the last time Houston Nutt screwed us.

Hahaha, we listened on the ride back to my grandparents in Chattanooga. I think I caught the 2nd half and all the overtimes.

We had just lost a heartbreaker to Georgia (clearly it was a long time ago).

2012 A&M vs La Tech
started at I think 8 and ended around 1 am? maybe 2 am?

Both teams were pass happy and the clock seemingly stopped on every play.

2003

'02 v UGA was some bullshite too. Peprah had a strip/interception (still not sure which) returned for six points, called back by a Georgia penalty. The difference in the game

Those two games (the Bama-UGA and UT-Arky games) were both on October 5, 2002. Our game was the CBS games, theirs was the night ESPN game. I just remember Gameday being in Tuscaloosa and it being hot as balls.

And the Peprah int counted (the one where he took the ball from Gibson). We had just missed an XP earlier in the game and it proved to the difference because UGA marched down the field and kicked a Billy Bennett FG to win.

shite, I'm all fricked up. There was another INT in that game called back by a Georgia penalty. A false start they didn't blow dead or flag til after the play

This game and the 2001 Ole Miss game. I'm not sure which was longer but the Ole Miss game ended in the early AM.

That does suck but at least you knew who was going to win.
