Oh, well, that's a relief. Because he isn't a good NFL quarterback. At least we are in agreement with that. Sorry for the confusion

LOL, now you're saying he's not even good, that's fine.

But this is the thread in a nutshell;

I simply point an impressive streak that JC put up.
Bammies get all butthurt and jump on the thread to discredit it.

Guess I would too since the only QB in the league from Bama is worse than JaMarcus freaking Russell.

Is it true Brodie hasnt won a game in the five years he's beein in the league?

Are you effing serious? Throwing damn near 300 passes in the NFL without a pick is a worthless stat?

LOL, get real.

If I had a choice between Peyton's ints and wins vs Campbell's pass-to-int ratio and his lousy winning percentage, I would take Peyton as my guy every time. And I don't even like the jackass volunteer prick.

I simply try to imply that Campbell can be compared to Peyton Manning. Bammies see the fallacy in my comparison and jump on the thread to discredit it.

Then I try to deflect from my silly comparison by pointing out that Alabama doesn't have any good QB's in the NFL.

I think the stat holds SOME water. The Redskins are A LOT more conservative in their offense than the Colts though, and I believe it was because of Cambell. But to put things into perspective, it took Cambell 52 games to throw 55 TDs. Manning threw 49 TDs in one 16 game season...

You have to be the dumbest of dumbasses if you think this thread was intended to compare Jason Campbell to Peyton Freaking Manning.

I once thought the callers to Finebaum were isolated Bama fans, my opinion is now changing.

Wow.

Everybody on this earth would, including Auburn fans.

It's people like tuck who say throwing 271 straight times in the NFL without a pick isn't impressive.

This thread started by searching for some
good air to suck in on Campbell. It's ending
gasping for air and typical Lee County
hyperventilation.

Hmmm, in the OP you wrote the following...

quote:

To put it in perspective, Peyton Manning averages one int for every 38 passes he's thrown in his career. And JC has lower percentage of his passes intercepted than PM over the span of their careers

Looks like a comparison to me.

Somehow what I'm trying to convey to you is just not sinking in. Let me break it down a little more for you.

You are implying, by the comparison, that this stat is a meaningful stat and proves that JC is somehow a good/great QB in the NFL. By the very fact that you use arguably one of the best QB's in NFL history to compare with JC shows how important this stat is to you. Well by your very comparison you prove your stat is worthless because Peyton Manning has accomplished so much more in spite of not having this wonderful statistical accomplishment under his belt.

Now bring on the continued personal attacks. Ad hominem arguments seem to be your most effective way of arguing.

It started by an AU fan showing an impressive stat by a former AU player (just like every fan has done in the history of message boards).

Then Bammies try to discredit the stat even if it makes them look crazy. Hell Tuck said the stat is unimpressive b/c Campbell doesn't have any championships to go with it.

That would be like an AU fan saying the game in which Shaun Alexander had 200+ yds rushing is unimpressive because he didnt win any championships at Bama. It's downright dumb logic.

No, no, it's definitely impressive. It's just worthless at the same time.

Dude, Im not comparing PM to JC OVERALL, this isnt hard man.

I post an impressive stat about JC. I use PM as a gauge b/c he's the best QB in the league.

Not one time did i say Jc was great
Not one time did I say it translated to championships
Not one time did I say JC is a good QB

Im simply saying throwing 271 passes without a pick in the NFL is impressive. What you're assuming I'm implying is on you.

I'm simply saying that streak is impressive. Do you agree or disagree?

It really is, because he DID win a championship at Bama. Also, if you want people to not jump all over you for starting threads like this, I suggest you stop with all the baiting and ridiculous assertions that comprise 90% of your post history.

Well shite, if that's what you're saying, this argument could've ended three pages ago.

I agree, the stat is mpressive but it hasnt translated to anything bigger.

It sounded as if you're sayin the stat is unimpressive.

I didn't say anything Bama related in the OP. But this thread is comprised of 90% of Bama fans trying to give different reasons why that streak is unimpressive and posting anything to discredit it.

That would taken a lot of entertainment out of this thread though.
