I guess they saw the Equestrian and decided not to read the post. If they had we'd still make the cut.

What do individuals have to do with different sports programs winning national championships?

Alabama claims 263 titles in 39 different sports. We just don't recognize all of them. They have more championships in revisionist history than anyone, also.

It's kind of crap that running has 3 championships per gender.

Why did you forget Vandy?

Baseball, women's tennis, women's bowling.

Actually we have one in football too if you calculate it like they do today. I recall a few years back where VAndy's AD discussed why they weren't going to pursue it. But I say, if Bama can claim one for the year they lost to Vandy, and didn't win the SEC, then we can claim one for legit reasons. I don't recall the year ( a long long time ago) but I'll try to look it up.

And football since everybody is claiming pre-playoff titles.

So Kentucky will claim 1950, but the Bryant Museum isn't moving to claim it?

They have John David Crow's Heisman trophy (from Texas A&M) but still only acknowledge his 6 titles at Alabama.

That looks about right. I remember us doing this last off season and it only changed in a couple of places in the past year.

Upvoted BTW .... thanks for posting that.
