Only two, eh? I'm a little surprised.

Huddon has a legit shot imho.He is still pitching pretty well, and it seems possible that he could end up with 240-250 wins and he has stats comparable to some HOFers. What will hurt him is his lack of a wow factor. If can make it, he'll just probably spend a few years on the ballot.

Well you also said Albert Belle > Frank Thomas, so not sure I'll trust you on that one

Too true. I go by this rule for the MLB HOF: if you even have to think about whether a player is a HOFer, then the player isn't a HOFer. Not perfect as there are a few players in that are questionable, but good enough.

You also lose 3 seasons off your career by going to college which makes it harder to pile up hall of fame stats.

No, you're right. A guy who has won barely 200 games, 20 games only once, has been in the top TEN for Cy young voting a whopping 3 times, never been out of the first round of the playoffs, etc has a really good chance at the hof because he went to Auburn.

I never said he has a really good chance. But it's better than zero.
I think you need to work on your reading comprehension. You can start by reading the link I posted.

It's less than zero. He has never been even remotely close to being one of the top pitchers in MLB at any time.

Cliff Lee has the best chance of any former hog. And that chance is close to Zero. You don't get in with one Cy Young.

prior to injury, belle was arguably a top 5 hitter in baseball. From 1993-1998, he averaged 42 home runs, 42 2Bs, 129 RBIs, and batted .310. His OPS was 1.003 over that span. He was an unbelievable player. Honestly, he still probably would have the numbers to get in, even though his career was cut short, but being one of the most hated men in baseball and the corked bat doesn't help his case.

it's only better than zero simply because he'll at least be on the ballot. but realistically, hudson, while he's had a long and very respectable career, just doesn't have enough to make the hall of fame. to put it in perspective: there are 237 members in the MLB HOF and 280 in the Pro Football HOF. The baseball HOF has been around since 1939, while the football HOF has been around since 1963. It takes a whole lot more than a long career of being pretty good to make it in baseball. Think of all the guys in baseball that still have yet to make it, despite having arguably more impressive careers than Hudson. Here are just a few, leaving out guys like Bonds, Clemmons and Rose:
Jef Bagwell
Mike Mussina
Tim Raines
Alan Trammel
Lou Whitaker
Larry Walker
Edgar Martinez
Jack Morris
Lee Smith
Fred McGriff
Kevin Brown
Dale Murphy
Will Clark
There are many more, but I think you get the point

Tennessee has one coming down the line in Todd Helton

yep, totally forgot about him; however, baseball is so fickle, I wonder if he gets screwed too. he certainly should be, but his team only making the postseason twice in his career could hurt him. it shouldn't but it could. He also doesn't have any of those highly overvalued "career milestones." He never won an MVP and just one batting title. However, Helton is one of the most consistent hitters of his generation. He definitely deserves to be in.

Also I think the fact he was with the Rockies his whole career will help. I would think they want someone from the expansion teams so they're represented

Too bad other SEC schools don't put more emphasis on baseball.

I read this weekend that Auburn is the only SEC school with HoF'ers in each of the Big Three sports:
Frank Gatski - NFL HoF
Charles Barkley - Basketball HoF
Frank Thomas - Baseball HoF
