bowl ban is just a start, NCAA would probably let them play in a bowl, not playing in a bowl if they qualify only hurts the rest of the conference
No way NCAA lets Ole Miss off without significant scholarship reductions, my guess, similar to USC.

Isn't that what Pitino at Louisville is facing?
If so, Freeze is at high risk for a show cause.

Perhaps he was given advice by other schools to NOT sign there and to cooperate with the investigation in order to receive immunity. hmm

So basically Leo Lewis received payments, dinners and merchandise. Austin Golston got to go hunting for free on booster owned property.

Freeze will undoubtedly get a show cause.
All but 2 of the new allegations are level 1
That makes what 13 level 1 violations.
including lack of institutional control

From Boosters who he was introduced to by the football staff.

he was introduced to the booster who owned the property by the football staff.
That is pure lack of compliance and they deserved the lack of institutional control

Maybe it is just me, but if all he got was permission to hunt on some land IDGAF about this and neither should the NCAA.

He doesn't need the $13-$15K apparently. He'd rather play @ MSU for free - what a saint

Creates a slippery slope. Next thing you know boosters are letting kids use beach houses or houses near campus etc. Using someones house and hunting on someones land can be seen as similar instances.
