Maybe it is just me, but if all he got was permission to hunt on some land IDGAF about this and neither should the NCAA.
The NCAA cares if a recruit's little brother gets free mac and cheese at the dining hall on an OV. They're going to care about them hunting.

If so, Freeze is at high risk for a show cause.
Freeze will be getting a 5 year show cause.

I do. What if that "land" was something like Tara hunting club? That's high dollar shite right there.

Bottom line is, its a benefit that could potentially cause a player to want to go to OM over another school. So, its cheating.

8 new allegations (in addition to the original 13), none related to Tunsil's draft night.
If the NCAA doesn't do something about Tunsil, then what will they do? I mean I don't even know what I expect at this point. Penn State was molesting little boys for decades and they got a slap on the wrist.

Well you're just using common sense. We have rides, paid for meals, lodging and supposed paid a player who is on recording being offered 60k to LSU and 80k to state and ends up at state. Because all this happened under Freeze and because a former member of his staff introduced Leo to the booster, they want Freeze for a show cause and the university of LOIC.
The only thing on there that makes your eyes pop is the 15k that a kid at a rival school alleges. A kid who didn't even come to OM. OM admits to things that they know are proveable. The fact they don't admit to that means it's not.
Y'all have your fun, we will be hit hard, but deep down you know that if a 5 year investigation was into your program there would be the same stuff if not worse

People need to stop bringing Penn State up. That was a civil and law enforcement issue, it had nothing to do with players getting extra benefits and eligibility. The NCAA shouldn't have done jack shite.

Besides the point that you think hunting land sways recruits and money doesn't get tossed around... if a kid commits elsewhere, does that not mean the other school offered him benefits using you logic?

That's why they have the umbrella "Institutional Control" violation. It's the RICO of college sports. They could make a legitimate argument on those grounds. Whether you think they should is a different issue, but they did have the power to do so.

Slippery slope, but you're missing the major point of that allegation. The football staff arranged for the booster and prospective athlete to meet and for the prospective athlete to have access to the booster's land (and the booster to have access to the prospective athlete). We know about the access to the land, but we don't know what, if anything, happened on that property that can't be traced.
That's the slippery slope. Give access to hunting land and the kid finds cash in his room. Give access to booster property and then there are girls and drugs accessible there.

That's why I put the disclaimer on it.
Managed club land would be a different story.

My response was to the poster who said using hunting land shouldnt be a violation. And it should be a violation. It doesnt matter where the player in question ended up going. That just makes it even more laughable actually.

Molesting little boys, while despicable, is not an NCAA violation.

I'm not kicking you when your down, but c'mon man.
This story was perpetrated by the very mouthpieces that have so obviously lied to y'all for over 2 years. There's an audio recording? Sounds completely verifiable and authentic

That's not how the NOA works. By the time they get to that point, the NCAA is pretty certain the things in it will stick.
