That's how it goes sometimes
Bama had down times and everyone has......

Bama could've attempted being a Texas/Oklahoma with their early success/dominance in the SEC, but Bama chose the "Your only as strong as your weekest link" think. The SEC is stronger today for it....

Great return on a $180,000 "investment" in 2010.

Sadly, I agree with a barner.

Georgia is a coattail riding frick. all while being 30-45 minutes from the highest concentration of NFL talent in a metro area, they've had what, 1 SEC championship in that time?

Big 6 needs to replace a guy.

I am still elated to have gone to Glendale for one National Championship and then to go to the one, and only, Rose Bowl just in the past few years.

Playing UGA never compares to that. I thought it did at once.

However, keeping on topic, show me how much money Alabama has earned for this conference so far in that time period.

A lot! Good for you. Now tell me which teams have been the SEC Bread-winners over this era and you will see where I was coming from. Some teams pull their weight, and other teams just sit back and share.

Nice job to your program by the way. Hate to admit it, haha.

Georgia Tech left figuring they'd not have to split the money & they were right.

Yes. Why do you ask? 16 to be exact. And we ripped up and redesigned Toomer's Corner into a park with cameras linking to our city police department to "view" where those stupid, innocent, toilet-paper-rolled trees were for so long. Just crazy, isn't it? Who would put cameras up? Nobody would do a thing to stupid trees Haha!!!

Would you mind to tell me where you live, please. Just a simple, innocent question.....friend. Anywhere near Dadeville? If so, your secrect is safe with me.

Honestly, it didn't matter this year if we beat Georgia. The "Gurley cheating fiasco" and their whole season thus far (failing as usual, while severely wasting their own talent) did that for them. Georgia defeats themselves each and every single year...worry not, rest of the College Football world. Nothing to see here, as usual

Y'all sure talked a lot of trash about something that supposedly didn't matter.

So...Welcome to the Club!

Thank You so much Florida for making it to the BIG ONE and sharing your $13 million with the rest of us.

That is Auburn, Alabama and Florida so far.

Big Money...for a reason! Be proud.

Maybe it's a subtle message to Mizzou to start actually doing something positive for the conference?

Auburn, LSU, Florida, Tennessee and Alabama all provided the Crystal in the BCS. That is the only Big-5. Nice Era for the SEC!
