This thread went from complimenting players around the league to running them down. Sad commentary of some of you ranters out there. And FWIW, LF's family has money & he went to a private Catholic school in N.O. none of which are cheap.

I'm sure the food is free maybe. I used to get free food dumpster diving at the cafeteria I worked at on campus. Ate my arse off good and didn't have to buy a freaking thing.

Players also receive cost of attendance checks and scholarship checks if they live off campus in addition to tuition and books.
Right around $10K a year in checks depending on the cost of living/attendance. Plenty for a college student to essentially be getting almost everything for "free."

So many of these guys are just void of common sense. Stop making quotes like this. At the very least it does make people raise an eyebrow. Just....say nothing.
