So what you're saying is during a drunken stupor he was beating his secretary while she was typing it and she made an error?

Two things for you.

I doubt Coach Bryant even knew what this letter said when he signed it. It was written by one of the AD staff members and left on his desk in a pile for his signature.

The second, the value dropped because of the (rm) as the writer rather than Mrs. Linda. Had the (rm) been (lk) then it would have been more likely that the letter was requested to be written by Coach Bryant.

No....he just stars in them and thinks its normal behavior....obviously lusts after Tebow, hence the value to him.

I got one myself. In 1979 our class wrote letters congradulating the team and players on their championship and every student, in return, got a personal letter on personal stationary from Coach Bryant thanking us for the support. The entire class also got a large matted and framed team picture signed by all the coaches trainers and players. Pretty cool. I think it was about the fouth grade or so. The auburn fans never had a chance to send any such letter so they just sent theirs with ours.

I bought a scrap book from Archie Manning's mom's house several years ago. It was during an estate sale. As I was going through it, I found a letter written to Archie by Paul Bryant. It was a letter of encouragement after he broke his arm. It was a good find I thought.

Well even 4th grade Auburn fans would have known to congratulate them, not congradulate them.

The problem is quite a few number of people signed his name to a lot of things one being footballs so its hard to really know if he signed it or not but someone would be willing to buy it I'm sure.
