with defenders all around him and the opportunity to tackle him multiple times, yeah, a fluke. blind luck.

want to praise coker? 4th and 10 bama down by a ton at midfield, blitz in his face and he side steps/shrugs the defender off and delivers a strike in a tight window to convert. undoubtedly the best play of his career.

Saban has trouble finding coaches. Its his biggest weakness. Smart is Saban's fair haired guy and will put up with Saban's dictatorship. They think alike and its really Saban's defense. Kiffin doesnt have Cooper this yr and it will be interesting to see how these two get along in tough times. Will he be a yes man like Smart or will they depart as bitter enemies?

Altho, a great coach Saban was/is very overrated. Very fortunate a few times, rematch w/ LSU and getting to play Notre Dame come to mind and the recruitng prowess of Alabama made him seem much better than he is. Anyone that could coach at all has won at bama.

Meyer will do the same thing in Columbus that Saban did in gumpville. Did get a bad break with Harbaugh joining Michigan, but Meyer has a big lead and will win at least one more NAtty befoe its a two man race. Meyer will bail out in the end and probably end up at USCw or Texas. Id love it if, he went to gumpville but u aint getting Meyer back in the SEC without a large crowbar.

Saban's biggest asset is rebuilding a losing program. That is when he is at his best. The players and fans are just going through the motions. Baja is in a funk.
As long as Bama's funk still hauls in 10+ wins a season and an SEC championship trophy, I think as a fan I can't just go through the motions.

Your comparing a qb run for 20 yards to kick six... You are an embarrassment to the rant. That's saying a lot!

I agree with this. No idea why Kiffin is the scapegoat-he's doing all he can do with what he has to work with. Turnovers was the key to the loss, and the Auburn-style miracle TD helped too. Bama will be hard to beat from here on out, providing Kiffin weathers the stupid rumor mill and stays

Kiffin is scape goat bc he changed QB's with the excuse of mobility but never tried to run a play that used it. That and with 3 min left in the game you tried winning it all on one throw vs marching down the field and taking the clock with you.
