So, my takeaway from this is you are satisfied with coming in second to Alabama. Is this your point?
Most LSU fans are unhappy since 2011 because they have been unable to win the West, or even beat Alabama. You seem content with this.

I have nothing to say to this Lsu fan but sad to report many fans have given up on Miles and Lsu football - they are only waiting on Miles to be fired ! that is it and nothing more
Being a fan since the 50's I just enjoy everything about being a LSU Tiger. Nick did a great job at Lsu and Bama. CLM has had a good run but of course no one in the country can match what Nick has done in the last 7 seasons.
We have 18 starters coming back and Les is at his lowest point since early 2010. We shall see , he made a come back in 10 and 11. I look for the Tigers to give Bama a run this year.

LSU has won the West 1 time in the last 8 seasons. In that season they were not even the best team in the west(21-0).
From 2000- 2007 LSU won the west 4 times with Saban and his cruits.The decline is real.
