It's actually easier to take off and dunk from that spot at 6'5" than at 7'.

Cmon guys, it was impressive. There have been better dunks, probably last night and tomorrow night but it doesn't mean his dunk wasn't impressive. He showed effort running the floor, got set up in perfect position and made his mind up immediately that he was going hard to the rim and shite on the UF kid. Impressive dunk. Just talent, size or anything else are immaterial to the impressiveness of the dunk. It was what it was, a good, in your face dunk

Fair point.

Yeah, I did. And I could take off and dunk from the same spot in HS and I'm 7 inches shorter.

Over a 6'9" defender?

Come on. It was pretty impressive. There aren't many bigs out there flexible and fluid enough to pull off that dunk.

If the two are equally athletic and agile, I don't see how this can be true.

Now you get it. Rarely is a 7 footer as athletic and agile as someone who is 6'5".

It really wasn't that big of a deal.People 7 foot tall should be almost able to dunk flat footed.

That was a power forward glide dunk, not a big man straight up and down dunk.

Guy had a bit of air time... Pretty good dunk for a big man.

Did you see where he took off from? Plus dunking over someone will always make a dunk more impressive

This and the major fact that it was a statement dunk for the tie I believe as UK was battling back. Any shite in shorts that can jump can do trick shots in a shoot around. That cram was for something in the heat of battle!

No matter how nasty the dunk is, it's going to be hard for a 7 footer to impress anybody with a dunk.

And looking at the pictures, the player that was dunked on fouled 2x. Left hand to the chest at take off and the right hand to the arm at the rim.

Dr J was a lot shorter, too.

Correct. Mickey, who's barely 6'8" has dunked from further out several times. I do agree that CS is impressively agile for a guy with that size, however.
