So Mizzou has the statistically best defense in the SEC so far...

This is their schedule:

SE Missouri State
Arkansas State
Connecticut
Kentucky
South Carolina

And the best defenses don't let ANYONE score...

That's the strangest play I've ever seen. He must have been working with a bookie.

Victory formation followed that play.

Key Stat:

22-27, 249 YDS, 2 TD - Towles vs. Missouri.

8-24, 126 YDS, 2 INT -- Towles vs. Florida.

That's it.

that GIF was from the game when ECU outgained Florida by 200 yards and had twice as many first downs, right?

Also.

1st Downs

ECU

Be patient leg humper, your nightmare is just 4 weeks away. We also took a knee after rushing for 999 yards against the dogs last year.

Don't exaggerate. It was only 448 I think.

The defense plays the games they're scheduled to play, so you can't punish them for having great numbers vs mediocre competition.

I think you should consider the fact that Mizzou has had one of the best defenses in the SEC over the previous 2 seasons as well, so it's not like Mizzou having good defensive numbers this year is a fluke.

I searched "Florida East Carolina" and didn't notice the box score was from the bowl game. Sometimes I'm too busy trying to be an a-hole and I make mistakes.

I am looking forward to our game this year. Hopefully we're still ranked at the end of the month

We played a similar team this year.

Kentucky had 241 yards against us.

Towles by himself had 249 yards against you.

Touchdowns scored by Kentucky against UF: 0.

Touchdowns scored by Kentucky against Mizzou: 3.

Turnovers for Mizzou defense: 0.

Turnovers for Florida's defense: 2.

Let's just take the common opponent.

What was the spread on the UF/ECU game? What about the over/under.

I wonder what the impact of UF not scoring on that play was in Vegas.

I actually thought that that might have been what happened, and don't worry, we'll have a blast this year like every year. No matter who wins.

If you want to take a 1 game sample size to compare the two defenses, then sure.

Okay, what team have you played with a better offense than Ole Miss?
