I don't doubt that Pearl will, given a reasonable amount of time, have Auburn contending for SEC titles. It was obviously unreasonable to think he could do it in his first year. That said, anyone who thinks they'll challenge for national titles wasn't paying attention when he was at Tennessee.

Pearl has made more progress in one season at AU, than Anderson has done his entire tenure at Ark. People just do not realize how low Barbee had this program, even by AU Basketball standards. Anderson will be a one and done in the tourney and the Ark fans will be beating their chest.
