FSU had nothing to play for. NCAA already let them know their effort was for nothing at all. They sent some undeserving squads with losses instead, all for ratings. And both of those teams got their shite kicked in the first round.

Why? Because they shouldn’t have been there in the first place.

bullshite. Not all conferences are created equal. That's why any guaranteed playoff spot is a load of shite.

Alabama believes they are special. Lost to a mediocre Texas team but still believes they “deserve” a spot. Pathetic. Got their shite completely pushed in by Michigan. And it was great to watch.

Michigan won the title. Alabama came closest to beating them than any other team they played. Your post is shite.

You still play the games and they still count. Too bad FSU.

SEC Rant posters the last decade:

Florida State is overrated and the ACC is trash! Clemson only won their titles because the ACC is garbage.

SEC Rant posters in December 2024:

The Playoff Committee is corrupt. FSU is undefeated in a quality conference.

Just think,

Had they sacked up and took a spot in the sec decades before, they wouldn’t be madder’n’a pile of kicked up fire ants.

Then again, they wouldn’t have gone 13-0 either.

It's also more pathetic than when A&M faked a "COVID outbreak" because they knew Jimbo was gonna get pasted by an ACC team on national tv.

SAD!

Getting hammered by 60 points in the orange bowl can mess with perspective. That loss was all on Norvell. He moaned and cried and threatened not to play after they missed the playoffs. He did everything but hold his breath and jump up and down. His players just quit on their program in response. Not an ounce of team pride by the head coach or players to see the so-called "undefeated" season. Norvell is responsible for every bit of it.

NCAA showed them anything they did was worthless. I probably wouldn’t have played the game either, especially if a senior. They were passed over for media ratings, because football isn’t decided on the field in college. It’s honestly a joke how corrupt the system truly is.

I actually felt sorry for FSU. It is the reason they are trying to go to the B1G. Because only that conference and SEC are privileged in the eyes of the media.

They refused to compete and got hammered like no one that has come before them. He's a petulant crybaby who wasn't ready for prime time. You get punished by the football lords when you build your entire offense around a QB and he goes down. We watched their crappy play in their ACCCG vs a terrible team and frankly, FSU's season was toast.

Why should they compete when the outcome is predetermined in advance by a bunch of old men in a room smelling of cigars and whiskey with wads of cash in their hand?

Pretty much the majority of P1 should break away and form their own league. They will never have a shot at a mythical national championship on the field.

FSU had nothing to play for.

That should be their motto then.

Instead, their motto is"Unconquered." This suggests that their motivation is to win because they can't/won't be conquered.

Then they travel to the Orange Bowl, in their own state, and suffer the greatest bowl loss in the history of college football. To celebrate, they put 13-0 and "unconquered" on their rings.

A 63-3 loss suggests they were hella conquered, and then some.

Norvell predetermined that they didn't want to compete against Georgia. Then why do you get into sports? You think like a quitter.

I think that it is best if the SEC and B1G break away from the NCAA and form their own semi-pro league, with the players paid out by the schools. The rest of the NCAA can go back to real college football and play for a real championship actually determined on the field.

I'd prefer A&M left the SEC in that scenario.

You are rooting for the right team in those circumstances. I remember the beauty pageant era of college football. Every year plenty of better teams got voted down and politics ruled the day for national champions for over 100 years of college football. You don't know how well we have it. You will be whining when the 13th-place team gets left out this season.

Name another team from a power conference that went undefeated and didn’t have the chance to play for a title. I’ll wait.
