I claim 9 AP titles and 24 SEC Titles. Go ahead and find me a shared SEC title we claim that was shared with literally half the conference.
Butch did a nice job at Cincy, but get out of here with "2 conference titles". The best teams in his conference that year went on and won BCS Bowls. He went to the Liberty and the Belk.

Just like Tennessee claims 6. If we really want to get into this dumb, overdone discussion then I will tell that 1941 is indefensible and the rest are as definsible and 95% of other programs (like Tennessee).
I'd just go with 9, but that would put everyone else in the league at about 2 or less.
Point being - Jones 2 "conference champions" split Libert and Belk Bowls while his co-conference champion mates at West Virginia and Louisville beat Top 10 teams in BCS Bowls. Decent teams, but if they were conference champs so was half of his league. Literally.

Think he won a title or 2 at Toledo. To be fair he has won his division about 4-5 times in the Big XII and the SEC combined.
He also won a DUI.

No power 5 coach has been at his post as long as Pinkel and not won a conference trophy. I think the OBC is probably second in that regard, the guy at Northwestern who's name I forget is probably in the hunt as well. Pinkel's a good coach, yes, great? No.
