While it cant be used "officially"- it will still be used. The NCAA doesnt have a list of punishments per violation- so what they decide to do from the punishment side is up to them. I assure you- what he said will be taken into account when they decide to penalize.

If the NCAA does not come down on OM hard they will without a doubt be watching them through a microscope. There won't be anymore "paying mamas light bill".
You also forget the bad press Oam received by the Nkemdiche brothers antics and LTs gas mask pics. I'm sure that kind of behavior isn't seen as "taking care of" by all the mothers. Looks more like a party school than anything else and many of these mothers don't like that sort of thing for their kids. This behavior keeps up and it won't be long before one of your star athletes ends up dead. You really don't want that kind of publicity. You already dodged a bullet with Roberts window incident.

Secondly... You and everyone who is halfway decent at football pays players.
Thirdly... Moving isn't that expensive. Do you know if she actually "bought" a house in Oxford? Or is she just renting one? Does the median income of a city tell you how much EVERYONE in that city makes?
