Let me ask Ole Miss fans a serious question....

If Tunsil and his mother both needed help paying for rent and bills via the "opportunity fund", then how in the world could his mother afford to move to Oxford on her own dime?
Tunsil's hometown, Lake Ciy, Florida, is not exactly made of money. The median income for a household in Lake City is $28,533, while over 20% of residents are below the poverty line. YET, Tunsil's mother was able to pack up everything and buy a house in Oxford following his signing to Ole Miss, BUT, she needs an "opportunity fund" to help pay a $305 electricity bill???
Hmmmmm, interesting.......

And if the messages were fake like many are trying to claim, why would you make it appear Miller has a problem with $305 over the agreed amount? Why wouldn't you just make it seem like whatever they need will be given to them no questions asked?

YOu already know the answer. He/his family were bought and paid for straight up. As was treadwell and likely more.
Tell me, how many other people do you know whose family completely uprooted and moved to the town their son went to play football for 3 years? And in mississippi of all places.

Real answer:
we paid them. Just like UGA and every other school was offering to do.
What the NCAA will be told:
Some people save up in preparation for those type of things. Maybe she saved up enough money to move to Oxford. Maybe she had friends who pitched in and helped her out. There's a number of different excuses that Ole Miss could use and unless the NCAA finds proof of something else (and yes they need proof or they can get their asses sued off) then they have to accept that.
Oh FWIW, the NCAA can't use public statements in their investigation. So anything Tunsil said (including the "I'd have to say yeah") at that press conference can't be used.

Can't be used by the NCAA since it wasn't directly said to them. Tunsil could come out and say "I got paid $200,000" in an interview but unless the NCAA has evidence of it and the statement was made directly to them, they can't use it.
And to those saying they will anyway. After the whole debacle with the Miami investigation, do you really think the NCAA will go against their own rules again which specifically state they can't use public statements in an investigation?

Oh the messages were real, Tunsil himself already confirmed that for us. The fact that an Assistant Athletic Director says that he "thought we all agreed on an amount" is all the NCAA should need to nail OM with Lack of Institutional Control.

I'd like a link to that please.
And again, public statements can't be used in their investigation. So they'd have to get him to tell them directly.

Maybe she had a bunch of new Mississippi friends who pitched in and helped her out.

I guess you didn't watch the press conference.
Directly from the video starting at the 2:31 mark
Reporter: "So not only did someon hack your account, but they doctored those messages"
Tunsil: "exactly"
Reporter: "so you're saying those were not messages from your...."
Tunsil:"Hold on, the messages you talking about from (points behind him), oh, no, those are true, like I said I made a mistake of that happening."
Reporter: "So was there an exchange b/w you and your coach of money?"
Tunsil: "I'd have to say yeah"

When has anyone come out and said they are not real? If the messages were fake then they would be screaming from the top of whatever hill they could find that they were fake.
IMO the silence is damning
