I have always liked Les--and not in the way opposing fan bases do (keep him around as long as possible so we can win type thing).
He really had a certain something that kids were attracted to. Maybe he had a style of mentoring that only the players saw, but his players were loyal to him and vice versa.
I also liked the fact that he didn't seem to care if people thought he was a little strange--good for him. He just kept on being Les--and that is what many loved about him.
It is also what maybe was his downfall as well.
I hope Les finds something that he enjoys...I can imagine the mass criticisms over the last couple years can take a mental toll on family.

No we get a change had to be made.
What no one has given a good answer to today is: "Why now?"
The obvious best time would have been end of last season, but the LSU AD fricked up the firing and LSU fans want to gloss over that fact because for some reason they think the next hire is a slam dunk.
