THAT is why he was fired. The administration wanted to fire him last year, but you can't very well fire a coach who is getting euphorically carried off the field by his players.

Last night's Auburn game was the final straw, but his inability to compete at the same level as Alabama ultimately cost him his job.

You sure it wasn't because he lost to Auburn and started 2-2 with one of his most talented teams?

So?

Why did you think this needed its own thread?

Are we just posting the first thing that comes into our minds threads now?

Yeah, but I'll be damned if he didn't look taller holding up those trophies.

Not necessarily that exactly but in general Saban's unprecedented run at Bama has certainly fricked up everyone's expectations

Naw. They fired him because he recruited talent and turned LSU into their winningest era. Then, they couldn't handle it.

LSU will never compete on the level that Alabama is at under Saban no matter who they bring in. That goes for every football program in the country. Saban is the GOAT coach at the GOAT college football program.

Not everyone's. Many fans of rival programs actually have a grasp on reality. LSU fans are the ones who believe they are something more than they are not.

Nick Saban has run out Fulmer, Nutt, Tubby, Meyer, Miles, Richt, so who's next?

If you can't beat little brother then you sure as hell can't beat up the big one.

Not even close. I'm sick of hearing about LSU's talent. Both oline and dline are soft as charmin and got dominated by both Wisky and Auburn. Their WRs can't catch. Their punter can't punt. Their QB is below average.

They have some good DB's who will be NFLers, Fournette, Guice, and Dural. That's their talent.

I can understand that since so many other teams are competing at the same level as Alabama. WTF!!!

I would guess that Alabama was not the measuring stick. The game last night was a disaster from a coaching prospective.

How did Bama do between Stallings and Nick? What did ya'll fans believe ya'll were? Without a legend Bama is no different than any other Biig 6 team.

The bigger problem was that number used to be 3-2
