I wouldn't go to Minnesota. The new AD there is an idiot. He allowed that player boycott to become big news and his coach was in a no-win situation. Decided to support his players (with the wrong words, I agree). Poor bastard leads the team to 9 wins and gets axed. Maybe they should hire Nutt.

Absolutly correct.LSU has perhaps the most unique recruiting situation in the country.
The only P5 school in a talent rich state were almost all the top players stay home.A trained chimp would a have a top 10 recruiting class at LSU every year.
Doubt he does anything special at all if he goes to Minnesota

Yep, reports are that P.J. Fleck will be hired. Of course, that comes from McMurphy so take it with a grain of salt. If it's not coming from Jeremy Foley, McMurphy's success rate drops significantly.

Hope he gets it if he wants it and I wish him the best. I think he'd do fine there. His brand of football if better built for the type of guys Minnesota gets. He of course won't have the same success as he had at LSU, but there is no expectation for that either.
