Les Sid

As big of a Hog fan as I am, if I had a son and Les Miles showed up to recruit him, he'd probably end up a Tiger.

Heartbreaking and somehow uplifting at the same time. Amazing how Sid & CLM's paths came to intertwine remain aligned to arrive at this point. Life is unfair - I hope Les can do whatever it may be to make the unthinkable for Sid just a little bit easier. What a brave young man. Thank you Coach & kudos for caring - don't think you'll have to worry about Sid saving that spot, you've earned that on your own. If or when the seemingly inevitable happens I can only hope Sid is able to be happy and pain free. Sid's story is an incredible one & I don't think it's one I'll ever forget...nor,would I want to. Just damn!

Les lost his mother last season or the season before. I remember him saying he kept coaching and didn't take a leave of absence for s couple weeks because she wouldn't want him to. I believe Les is 200x more mature than the rest of us fantards getting caught up in the negative emotional side of it all.

Had a father in law lose the battle and a brother in law kick its arse. Cannot imagine a youngster having to fight that battle. Hopefully we see Sid in the stands on Nov 7. Kick cancer's arse, Sid! Prayers for you.

Anyone can tell Les is a good dude. He seems pretty much a "salt of the earth" type guy.

I'm glad he got to enjoy the beatdown LSU laid on us. I'm serious... I look at my issues and I feel like a fool for how much I complain...

I hope he gets to see the game as well. Even without Miles, I know the University of Alabama would make sure this kid gets a ticket. Makes football seem so irrelevant.

Made my eyes start watering at work. My 10 year old daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia at 6 years old. She is doing well, been finished with treatments for a couple years and is still in remission. Hard for me to stomach the fact that a child can be sent home to hospice care and told they are out of options. Kind of puts life in perspective. Praying for this young man and his family.
