Unless you were running down the sidelines with him or were a player on the LSU sidelines, you don't know what Coach Miles was saying.
I typically determine what I know by looking at all the facts, in this case I saw the video of Les mouthing the words "clock it" while dropping his arm in a spiking motion. Also after time ran out his reaction was quite telling (To the cop "What?" "No time left?") he clearly had no idea that he wouldn't be able to run another play, which is why he called clock it.

He could have very well been saying the ball was down since an OM player came up with the ball at the end of that play.
Except that he wasn't trying to argue that the ball was down (which, anyway, would be a retarded thing for the head coach to be doing instead of getting the field goal unit prepared) it is very clear on the video that he is screaming "Clooooooccckkk it"! I understand your "want" to make Les Miles not look as stupid as he was in that game, but no reasonable person would say that he didn't make that call and then therefore lie about it. People who deny this are just as bad as Bama fans who claim that PP didn't intercept the ball. You sound like fools.

So you say something nice to only turn around in the same thread and bash the man?
In response to the kool-aid chugger who claimed Les is the greatest human I would ever meet? Yeah, that's ridiculous.

I'm not gonna defend Miles and say that Miles wasn't instructing him to spike it.

I don't think the original poster was insuating that Miles was a saint, but I really think Miles is genuinely a great person moreso than many other coaches.

I don't think anyone would argue that Coach Miles is a class act. The question is this, when he went to visit the troops was he on time?

probably, there were guys in uniform near him to ask
