quote:Uh... no. No doubt what he is doing on this visit is a good thing, but let's not canonize him as St. Leslie just yet. If you are honest you will admit that he did initinally lie and throw his QB under the bus to cover his own ineptitude after the "Clock it" debacle. You may want to sweep that under the rug and act like it didn't happen (since being able to call Saban "a liar" is the Louisiana State pasttime) but lied despite calling the play for all the world to see.
Say what yall want about Les as a coach, but your not going to find a better human being out there.

He has a want to for the oil to be cleaned up.
Now that I got my jab out of the way.... Les has always been a good guy, the heat he takes is for his speaking and poor game management. I think most on this board would agree that if we were ranking the biggest assholes coaching in the SEC he would be near the bottom of that list. Good family man and nice guy to be around. That just doesn't make him a great coach.

wanted to ask without starting a thread but I spoke with a friend of mine a nephrologist who is a huge Tiger fan. He claims he went to a concert where Kenney Chesmey was playing at tiger Stadium and he called Les Miles out on stage to ask him about Sat night in Death Valley. He said Miles was talking about how special it was when the sun set in the NORTH. Is this true or does he just hate Les Miles?

They should dip his hat in the ocean and soak that shite up and then use his spare to cap the leaking pipe and we could put this oil spill shite behind us.

...and I think we all know who would be at the top of that list.

No one ever accused Miles of being perfect, but he's doing the right thing in this situation. Coaching aside, Miles is a great person.
But you take every opportunity you get to bash LSU, our fans, our coaches, etc. Does it make you feel better?

It gives me thrill that Coach Miles has adequate craving to visit the Gulf.

The last time the state of Louisiana was hit by a natural disaster Coach Miles did the same thing and pulled the team together to have a great 10-1 regular season and finished in the top 5. He is about to rally the troops once again.
This is nothing new for Coach Miles. He has also been active in going to visit our military in the Middle East.

I don't think anyone would argue that Coach Miles is a class act. The question is this, when he went to visit the troops was he on time?

quote:That is your OPINION and you are entitled to it but don't act like it is a fact. Unless you were running down the sidelines with him or were a player on the LSU sidelines, you don't know what Coach Miles was saying. He could have very well been saying the ball was down since an OM player came up with the ball at the end of that play.
If you are honest you will admit that he did initinally lie and throw his QB under the bus to cover his own ineptitude after the "Clock it" debacle.

So you say something nice to only turn around in the same thread and bash the man?
