Yeah, most lsu fans I know that aren't complete idiots respect bama. I must admit, I'd rather Georgia go to the natty, tho. It would make the sec look even stronger.

This thread is weird, way too much love going around.

We try not to let him out but he manages to sneak out every now and then. Just pat him on the head and give us a call and we'll come pick him up.

WTF is wrong with you? There a bunch of Bama fans complimenting our program and coach and you jump on them. There are 1001 threads you could go to.

I don't agree with all of Les' decisions but I wouldn't trade him for anyone.

What Les discussion would be complete without one of his quotes.

"That's the reason that it was a historical turnaround by numbers."
- Scout.com Nov 17, 2008

He's a hoot and a daring coach...a riverboat gambler.

It is difficult not to like Les. As a fan he drives us crazy, but you can clearly see why the players will run through a wall for him.

An awesome speech defending his players followed by a Curly impression. "Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk!"

Moved Les a notch higher for me, and he was already up there.

A loose cannon does not hit its target nearly as much as Miles does. He is a loose cannon that fires almost unerringly.

Les won me over after the Bama/LSU game last year. That was as classy as I've ever seen a coach after a win. Count me in as another Les Miles fan.

Someone with Miles' record isn't just lucky. He's sustained a level of success for way too long for it to be marginalized as luck or coincidence. People may criticize his decisions, but everyone makes mistakes, and hindsight has a way of making critics insufferable. Few people have the passion for the game that he has, and few people respond to the pressure with as much character.

A lot of posters seem to like him because he's funny. If you listened to how he defended his players, and how spontaneous and visceral that was, that is the best reason for loving the guy. I'm sold.
