Don't start this shite here. Nick has Nick's Kids that is literally an entire non-profit dedicated to helping special needs kids. Go somewhere else with this shite.

While nothing like this, when my son had cancer both Saban and the athletic dept. did a whole lot for my son. I will never forget it.

And well done Coach Miles!

Yeah not called for. I am pretty sure Saban has done a few things like this as well. Sometimes what one sees on a man's outer shell does not reflect what his enter being truly is.

Let's please not derail this thread.

This should honestly be stickied for when we all inevitably melt over a tough loss, for a little perspective.

I don't want this thread derailed but this thread, just like that other thread, is lacking one particular fan base saying something nice about Les. Y'all can figure which one.

I could, because I saw it first hand when he was here in BR.

See I don't understand that. This is a positive thread about the big heart of one man. And you come in and throw negativity towards another. What the heck is wrong with you..

As for Les, he's one coach that not only influences his players but does so much for his community. Great guy.

really not necessary, the Saban's do quite a lot for the community in Tuscaloosa

- Great story though, we have a lot of great coaches in the SEC, both on the field and off the field.

That really doesn't make any sense. It was a fair point that wasn't some shot at Alabama. It's just a hypothetical that brings up a fair point.

Anyways.

This story will be featured on Gameday for the Alabama game. I just hope the young man will still be with us to watch LSU win the national title this year. Prayers for him and his family. Les Miles
