Les Miles = John Cooper???

For one thing Miles has shown he will remove problem players from the team who display problems with discipline. I don't think very highly of him as a coach on the field, but he has proven to be a man of character. Coker was losing control of his Miami team in his last few years as evidenced by the on field fights and locker room brawls. Unless these kinds of actions start becoming commonplace at LSU Miles has a little ways to go to equal Coker.

until he drops F bombs at huge parties with thousands of people listening to him talk on a mic... while drunk. or when he kicks players off the team without lettin them know in person!
then again, he's leaps and bounds ahead of coker it seems.

I agree with this comparison in some sense. Heres why:
Nobody fears playing LSU anymore just like Nobody feared playing Miami after Coker had a few years post Butch Davis (Same with Miles a few seasons post Saban).
I think 6-6 might be a bit drastic but its definitely possible if they start conference play poorly. I believe the wheels could fall off with an increasingly PO'ed fanbase, the players knowing there season is a disappointment and not giving max effort down the stretch, and Les himself knowing his time there is finished.
I think the 10-2 prediction is an absolute bias exaggeration. I mean ya gotta know Les will lose one by his own idiocy. I think 8 regular season wins is more likely. At that point a bowl win/loss doesnt matter because his bags are packed and hes thrown out on the street.

if i get you that quote, will you admit you're a noob on forums who has a thin fricking skin and can't take it when people have different opinions than
It was just a cheap flame.
You are not going to hurt anyone. You're a typical internet pussy. Any time any place.
Let's see how things look after a few more seasons.
You know their were allegations of Saban screwing around on his wife while in Baton Rouge. Also heard he neglected his kids.
Since it came from the internet,I don't put much stock into those posts.
I think Nick is an excellent coach and am greatful for the job he did at LSU.
I will say this,Saban would not a won SEC with JJ or any Bama freshman QB last yr.
Les Miles beat Oklahoma twice with much less talent.
Can you name a team with much better talent Saban has beaten twice?
This bashing Miles because he has been forced to play with inexperienced QBs the last 2 yrs is stupid.
Miles has to play Florida every year. Since Miles has been at LSU,Florida has won 2 MNCs. Saban has played UT in 3 of their worst yrs.
Les has yet to lose to UAB or ULM.
Saban certainly didn't look to impressive at Miami.
People in Baton Rouge know who the more personable man of the two is. I'm sure there are many who work with Saban at the Alabama athletic Dept know what I mean.Bama and Nick will soon start to wear on each other. It will happen, but most of you Bama fans will disappear from here.

Sounds like sour grapes to me..... Look saban might be an a-hole, cheat on his wife, steal, murder, etc but it doesn't change two things:
1. He is a hell of a coach that's wins everywhere he's been
2. LSU would take him back in a heartbeat. Any tiger fan this disagrees is either stupid or in denial that their program is less than it once was.
Period. End of story.
