Funny. You spent the entire post comparing Chubb to Fournette and intimating that Chubb is better. Then you threw in two sentences at the very end about their relation to the team, focusing on LF7 and whether he can do it all by himself.

All in all, this is a terrible thread and you should just shut it down and let it drift down the board.

Both guys are studs. Hopefully we can meet in the Dome to settle the debate.

Leonard Fournette leads the nation in yards per game (210.33), also third in total rushing yards (631) despite LSU playing one less game.

Exactly. Can he keep it up? The last National Champion won with a dominant rushing attack that opened the passing game. Their running back came out the gate slow but picked it up later in the season. Fournette is hitting all gears out the gate.

If Williams was the featured back he would run for 200 a game. Can't wait until our 3rd and 4th even 5th string run rough shot over everyone when it's their turn. What will you say then?? Guice Brossette and Ducre are all better than SM and who ever is after that. Chubb is a great back but LF is a freakn man. Everyone but the LSU haters can see it. I guess once LF puts up 5 consecutive 200 yard games maybe the haters will admit it but I doubt even then. Who has GA played btw? Our schedule has been all power 5 teams and just played a team that was ranked 3rd in the country at stoping the run. LF can make any Defense look bad so it's not the teams we played it's the man running the ball bud.

Who was Hershal's backup? Get it? When you have a back like Hershal Walker or Bo Jackson no one gives a shite about the backup. LSU has a back like this. Georgia doesn't.

I don't mean this as a knock on Georgia. They have a great stable of RBs with a stud as the alpha. But Fournette is something different. If Fournette gets injured LSU will take a huge step back. If Chubb gets injured Georgia will take a small step back. The reason for this is NOT the quality of our respective backups.

LSU have one cupcake remaining before they play a decent defense in USCe

Which "cupcake" has LSU already faced. We've played 3 P-5 schools And UGA? You've play 2 Non P-5 schools. That "decent" USCe defense is #86 in the nation

What are you asking? I said nothing about LSU having played a cupcake.

Our qb who hasn't turned the ball over all year and is making good decisions with the football is also hot garbage.

Chubb is a very good RB. If Fournette wasn't playing, no doubt he would be in contention for best offensive player of the year.

Fournette is a once in a decade freak. He looks like an NFL RB playing HS competition, and all his competition so far has been a member of a P5 conference.

Ok, to clear things up. Like I said before I picked LSU to play UGA in the SECC. UGA have proven RBs to take some of the pressure off Chubb. I was simply asking will Fournette be able to keep up this amazing performance the entire season and help HIS team make it to Atlanta

I'm not worried at all about our backup RBs. Williams and guice have already shown that they are very good backups and can take up the slack when fournette comes out to rest. But I was surprised Williams or guice didn't get hardly any carries against curse. I guess miles is trying to pad them heisman stats for fournette.

Can we stop with the Chubb vs this year's Heisman winner threads? Really, LSU's fans are bored of this. I can't even imagine how bored other teams' fans are.
